Planting fields & Fighting hunger in America

We are mounting a coordinated effort to use the natural recourses of our Nation to end the struggle for the hungry.

Our goal is to start farming up to Quarter sections of land (160 acres per quarter section) and crops are sold to produce a harvest of food for the hungry. Through this program, Buy a Seed will provide food aid and security to hungry people, helping them to help themselves.

Your help is needed to bring fresh food directly to those who need it.

There is a great deal of food wasted in our Nation, truck loads of it! The problem is getting these trucks of food to food banks before the food is spoiled. Much of the time, the entire load is lost due to the time involved. Even worse, the truck arrives and most of it has gone bad and the food banks struggle to sort out the leftovers for hand out that day.

We are working to stop this problem by directly purchasing the field of crops and arranging for delivery to food banks and farmers markets for the hungry with the same freshness as any grocery store would demand.

Planting fresh produce with the direct purpose of feeding the hungry eliminates many of the problems inherent in the giving process.

Additionally, we are helping to support farmers who may find themselves facing tighter credit markets and be having a hard time finding the money to plant their crops.
