The basic info: They are highly innovative internships. Internships are available in many key areas of business including business management, marketing, accounting and banking. Some interns will work in areas to include grant writing and venture capital development. Interns also help optimize the corporate strategy.
Interns perform most of their work at home, online and have easy access to their supervisor by phone, email, internet, etc.
Internships run 2 to 12 weeks.
What's it like to work as an intern?
Here, as an online intern, you'll push your colleagues to do their best work. They'll turn around and do the same for you -- all of which makes for a cooperative environment in learning real world skills and learning what works and what does not work during an economic recession.
What matters is being able to use the best technologies to help a great company perform even better and helping America at the same time. As an online intern, you'll put your demonstrated technical and graphic skills into play as Web presentations that tell a story in words, audio, photos and video. Your Business skills and education will be put to great use as we develop a future for thousands of people seeking employment and a future in the business world.
You'll produce innovative, high-quality Web sites. Those Web pages will regularly include interactive infographics, slide shows and streaming audio/video.

Requirements
To be a high initiative undergraduate or graduate student at a top U.S. University, and have a strong interest in business development and management.
Knows key area of business including journalism, marketing, web development , MBA, attorneys and accounting
Demonstrates strong judgment, grasps current market environment skills. This person performs key roles in their area of expertise and will translate skills into real world interactions.
Understands what's appropriate for their field and knows how to take advantage of the Internet's innovative possibilities for telling a story. Thinking interactively is key. Readers should be able to use the site in many ways, with polls, message boards, databases. We want to increase reader participation and involvement.
Skills that are highly desirable for web site interns include (or can be learned): CSS, (X)HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Web site management, Photoshop, GoLive, Flash, Illustrator, Freehand, RealPlayer, Adobe Premiere, ImageReady and multimedia production
Videography and audio experience preferred
MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and FrontPage
Good copywriting and grammar skills
COMPENSATION:
They are non-paid yet valuable internships because (1) interns obtain high quality practical experience in various business development phases and marketing in a competitive environment. You will be guided by an experienced supervisor and (2) interns have the opportunity to network with prominent industry professionals, which may be crucial for getting good jobs in this competitive industry. (3) Develop a portfolio of work which you can be proud of and use to support any future employment prospectus.
HOURS:
These online, take-home internships allow flexible schedules and vary in duration.
